The candidate will have to exercise judgement and decide on defining practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining the desired solution. AVP Sales - Account Executive (Gurgaon)

Major Duties and Functions:

Reports to the Regional Account Manager, directly responsible for assigned customer accounts. Sales responsibility may be assigned as: sales of specific Telcordia products and services to a cross section of customers in an assigned region; sales of a cross section of Telcordia products and services assigned to accounts or sales to a strategic business development market across all territories.

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Exhibits functional expertise, works on complex problems requiring a high level of ingenuity and creativity gained through years of practical experience. Frequently contributes to the development of new principles, theories and methods. Often self initiated, work is usually performed independently with minimal direction from manager. Independently assigned specific customers or business segments. Participates in ongoing sales and product training. Develops proposals that can benefit customer needs, presents and participates in bid development. Has a cross section of accounts and/or partners with other Account Executives on larger account. Average quota for specific account or territory. Works at a level of independence associated with a fully qualified AE. Assignments are of moderate to significant importance. Strategies require demonstrated advanced sales and planning skills. Sales role includes Retention, Penetration, New Business and Conversion.

Position Requirements:

  • 10yrs + years of sales experience ideally within the Service Delivery, OSS and BSS areas of the communications software/solutions sector.
  • Successful sales track record with excellent written & verbal communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers
  • Ability to penetrate accounts, meet and build relationships with diverse stakeholders within those accounts
  • Demonstrated experiences in interacting with C level players.
  • Strong understanding of packaged solution and technologies & can solve business issues.

Solution Architect (Gurgaon)

Major Duties and Functions:

The Solution Architect provides senior level technical leadership to the Telcordia CvAS customers and potential customers. This requires deep understanding of the Telcordia Network Solutions (IN) product suite, a comprehensive understanding of both traditional and next generation telecommunications technology, and the aptitude to quickly learn new technologies as they are introduced and deployed by communications carriers. This position is available now, and we would like to hire the right candidate as soon as possible.

The Solution Architect performs many pre and post sales functions, such as identifying and defining the appropriate technical solution to meet a customer's business need, giving product demonstrations to potential customers, defining solution architectural strategies, and identifying business value to the customer for our solutions. Additionally, the Solution Architect must be able articulate and demonstrate the value propositions and the flexibility of our solutions to potential customers with unique configuration requirements.

The Solution Architect is generally assigned to a set of current customers and a geographic region for a set of potential customers. The ability to respond under relatively tight timeframes and under high stress situations is a must. In particular, the ability to define a solution based on customer requests and RFXs, identify the gaps in our product vs what has been requested, technically document the solution and the differences, support the costing of the gaps and develop/write the responses to RFXs. Additionally, the Solution Architect must be particularly adept and comfortable presenting solutions to complex network requirements using the Network Solutions product suite to customer audiences ranging from CEO to switch techs.

The Telcordia CvAS product is an advanced telecom application server that is widely deployed throughout the world for application including: numbering services (800/TollFree), advanced routing services (Find-Me/Follow-me), Prepaid/Postpaid Charging, Policy, VPN, and more. The Solution Architect will also be responsible for understanding the India Charging and advanced multimedia service market and able to present the Telcordia product capabilities and strategies that meet these market needs.

Provides technical advice to various levels of management and often acts in a lead position. Capable of handling problems that may arise and able to offer creative solutions to resolve them. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques, for obtaining results. Has broad experience and know-how, with specialized expertise in some aspects. Works well without appreciable direction. Entry into this level is limited and is attained by employees whose education, experience and contribution lends to consistently high contribution and value. Typically requires 8-10years of related experience with a BS/ MS.

  • Solution architect for network systems product offers, including:
    • Real-Time Billing and Charging

  • Expertise in Advanced Services product offerings and network/IP protocols - (e.g.

  • Understand the real-time charging market

NOC Manager (Gurgaon)

Telcordia Technologies Managed Services organization operates highly available telecommunications services for Cellular Carriers. This organization is seeking a strong leader to manage a 24x7x365 Network and Services Operations Center (NSOC).

Major Duties and Functions:

  • Ownership for Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) and ensuring the systems operate within the requirements
  • Lead incident management, and direct resolution of potentially complex customer troubles
  • Strong focus on Mean Time to Detect (MTD) Escalate (MTE) and Restore (MTR)
  • Provide leadership and day to day management of 24x7x365 operations

Network & Services Operations System Engineer (Gurgaon)

Major Duties and Functions:

  • Perform and record assigned daily, weekly and monthly operations maintenance duties.

  • Monitor all testing and production platforms for alarms and performance issues.
  • Enter trouble tickets with platform support organizations and vendors to resolve customer and platform issues.
